Dr. Grate's Team
is assessed and evaluated on their

ensures that our patients can expect to be served by a professional, well
trained, highly competent and responsive staff member. Our confidence in and
commitment to excellence are demonstrated by having our Performance Standards
for each staff position available to our patients from the reception area, to
the consultation rooms, to the surgery. We handle every case professionally, discreetly and with
respect for each patient's privacy. Our top priority is to meet or exceed our
patient's needs and expectations combined with a friendly and caring attitude.

Joan
is a graduate of St. Petersburg College of Nursing in Florida and has worked
with plastic surgeons for over twenty years. She has a wide experience in
plastic surgery nursing. In addition, she has pursued post graduate
education in all areas of plastic surgery, including advanced cosmetic
products. She dispenses compassion and humor in equal parts, as she assists
in surgery and educates our patients in pre and post operative care.
Joan and her husband have four married
children and five grandchildren. She enjoys her two standard Poodles, Frank
and Mattie.

Diane
has been a part of Dr. Grate’s staff since
2002. She is experienced in accounting, medical coding and billing. Diane
is one of Dr. Grate’s Consultants for facial plastic surgery, and shares the
title of co-office manager with Claire. She is also compassionate about our
patients, and advises in post operative care. Diane has an extensive
knowledge and understanding to our patients needs. She also educates
patients in the financing programs offered by Care Credit.
Diane and her husband have two beautiful sons. The
family enjoys spending time
together, with outdoor activities and watching movies.

Claire
joined Dr. Grate’s staff in 2003. She has over
10 years experience in the medical field. Claire is one of Dr. Grate’s
Consultants for facial plastic surgery, and also shares the title of
co-office manager with Diane. Claire is dedicated to their patients, and is
knowledgeable about the procedures performed in the office. She is also
helpful in guiding the patients through the benefits of the procedures,
reassurance, and decision making process. Claire also explains the
financial programs provided in the office. She is an independent consultant
for natural skin care products, and offers pre and post operative skin care
and make-up application.
Claire enjoys spending time with her husband and
their two
rescued dogs Cheeba
and Rocky.
